GPRS SETTINGS FOR BLACKBERRY

  • GPRS SETTINGS FOR BLACKBERRY CURVE -8330,8520,8900,ATLAS 8980,PEARL 3G 9105 ,PEARL FLIP,BLACK TORCH,
    You can manually create gprs settings in your blackberry curve mobile.Follow the below steps to create gprs setting in blackberry

    1. Go to option>>settings >> advanced options >> TCP/IP.
    2. Go to Apn and edit it according to your service provider.
      idea, apn – internet
      airtel   – airtelgprs.com
      aircel  -aircelwap
      docomo – tata.docomo.internet
      videocon – vinternet
      reliance – rcomwap
    3. Then scroll to username and password.
      For all the above service providers except reliance it will be blank.For reliance,give mobile number without zero as username and password.
    4. click the track wheel to enter TCP option menu
    5. Then save it and press track back to go to main screen.
      OR

      • SETTINGS>> DEVICE >> ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS >> HOST ROUTING TABLE
      • Go to desired  account and and click menu >> register now
      • Phone will show a message and click trackwheel to accept it

GPRS SETTINGS FOR BLACKBERRY BOLD -9700,9780,9790,9000

  • Go to main screen >>menu >> options >> advanced options >> Browser and select default browser.
  • select internet browser configuration and trackpad and save it.Or
    You will get gprs settings from online service provider website of blackberry .You can create an account in this website and  follow instruction to send settings to your mobile.
    For airtel,visit airtel.blackberry.com
    For Idea, visit idea.blackberry.com
    Docomo, visit docomo.blackberry.com

    I have 9320 curve model and have tata docomo SIM.

    I have set my APN as guided, still my GPRS is not working…..Do I need to do any network settings?
